We collect information you provide (email, phone, vehicle details, search criteria) and information generated through your use of the Platform (messages, engagement history, payment records, device tokens for push notifications).
We use your information to operate the Platform, match buyers with sellers, process payments, send notifications, improve our services, and comply with legal obligations.
We share limited information between matched buyers and sellers to facilitate deals. We share payment information with Stripe for processing. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Buyer maximum prices and seller minimum prices are never disclosed to the other party. Only the existence of a match is shared.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures.
We use essential cookies for authentication and Vercel Analytics for basic usage metrics. If enabled for your session, we may also use PostHog (or similar) for product analytics to improve the Platform — not for third-party ad targeting. You can use browser controls to limit cookies; some features require authentication cookies.
You can access, update, or delete your personal information through your account settings. You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, non-essential account data and profile preferences are permanently removed within 30 days. Required financial transaction history, compliance logs, and identity verification records are retained for up to 7 years to meet applicable Canadian tax, anti-fraud, and legal compliance mandates, after which they are securely purged or anonymized.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
If you use optional financing introductions or vehicle shipping coordination, we may share the minimum information needed with lenders or carriers to fulfill your request. Those parties have their own privacy policies. mmmyep may receive referral or finder fees as disclosed at the time of introduction.
When you upload a driver's licence or other ID, we store it in private cloud storage with strict access controls (not public CDN URLs). Access is limited to you, authorized mmmyep staff for support and compliance, and automated systems that process your request. We retain these documents only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Do not upload documents you are not authorized to share. We may delete or restrict documents that appear fraudulent or unrelated to a legitimate transaction.
If you order or link a third-party vehicle history report, that provider's privacy policy governs their use of VIN and personal data. mmmyep receives only the data needed to display status and links on the Platform.
We aim to comply with Canadian privacy law (including PIPEDA and applicable provincial statutes). Vehicle transactions may require provincial bills of sale, safety inspections, and tax treatment — see our Help pages and consult local requirements. Competitive conduct: we do not facilitate horizontal coordination on pricing between sellers; the Platform is a matchmaking service.
When you submit a URL to import listing details, our servers request that page over the internet to extract structured information (for example vehicle description or images from public markup). We do not authenticate to third-party sites as you or bypass access controls. Third parties may log those requests under their own policies. Imported fields are retained as part of your listing or draft as described in sections 1–3 above.
