After a deal is completed, both the buyer and the seller can rate each other. Ratings build trust and help future users choose who to engage with. Only completed in-platform deals generate ratings — if you bypass the platform to close, there’s no recorded transaction and no rating.

What sellers are rated on
- Accuracy of vehicle description
- Responsiveness in chat
- Honoring commitments (shipping, inspection, documents)
- Overall satisfaction
Your average rating is shown on your public profile and on listing pages. High-rated sellers get more visibility and tend to attract more interest. Buyers see your rating when they’re deciding whether to tap “I’m interested.”
What buyers are rated on
- Seriousness of intent
- Responsiveness in chat
- Proceeding in good faith (not backing out after price agreed without reason)
Sellers see your rating when you express interest. Consistently low ratings can reduce your match visibility. Repeatedly backing out after agreeing on a price may result in deposit forfeiture and restrictions — see Trust & Safety and our terms.
How to leave a rating
You can leave a rating from the engagement page once the deal status is Completed. One rating per side per engagement; you can’t change it after submitting. Use it to reflect your honest experience so the community benefits.
